Always wanted to do a blog and now have the chance thanks to Joanna, Richard et al.
We are fast growing webbed feet here and all my poor flowers are being bashed down by the rain, luckily I was able to cut all the flowers I needed for the regular orders yesterday before the rain came down.
Lily beetle has been driving me mad, every day I have to hunt amongst the many lilies we have to find the little blighters. Fortunately as they are bright red they are not easily overlooked, so once hunted out and captured they are squashed! Lily beetles and their gross larvae decimate lilies and, a fact I discovered quite by accident, lily beetles squeak! I happened to have three or four beetles in one hand whilst leaning over to capture another beetle and my ear came within hearing distance of the hand holding the beetles when I heard this little squeak. They emit quite a high pitched sound - most odd.
Well won't bore you any longer will now go off and read some more posts.
